Day 1: Equator & Lake Mburo National Park
You will be picked up by our driver guide from Kampala[agreed destination] and start your journey to Lake Mburo National Park which is one of Uganda’s smallest parks, but certainly not to be underestimated. It is a very special place with a medley of habitats ranging from dry hillsides, rocky outcrops, bushy thickets. It is also the Ugandan National Park which is home to zebra, eland, and impala, as well as an abundance of other wildlife - not to mention the magnificent lake itself, which is teeming with hippos and crocodiles! You will stay just outside the park boundaries, but it will feel like being in the middle of the park. From your verandah and restaurant, you have a great view of the park and its wildlife. On your way to the park, you will have a stopover at the Equator for the water experience and visiting craft shops for some souvenirs.
Upon your arrival at the park, you will head for a launch trip. Here, you will see a lot of animals (more than you can possibly imagine!), animals like the hippos’ buffaloes, and crocodiles alongside the many birds around the area which are attractive to see as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bath. You can expect to see: Buffalo, Crocodile, bathing Elephant, and a range of beautiful birds. This will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your tour. After the boat-safari, you will head to your accommodation for overnight at Rwakobo Rock Lodge.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive (Optional Bush Walk)
After your Breakfast, you will be picked by your guide for an early game drive to explore and search for the animals like the zebras, impalas, topi, buffaloes, and elands among others bird watching.
