12 Days Uganda Family Tour

Day 1. Kampala –Jinja
Start your journey after breakfast passed Kampala to Jinja. This afternoon we will sail along the shore of Lake Victoria to see many bird species and we arrive at Nile’s source. Visit Jinja town for crafts shops! Later drive to Kingfisher Resort for your accommodation.
Day 2. Jinja full day
You will have (optional) activities such as family white water rafting private group, Bungee jumping, Horseback riding, Quad biking, or village walk to experience the real-life of Ugandan local people driving through fields & plantations. Drive back to your resort for relaxation and dinner.
Day 3. Jinja – Masindi
We drive towards the northwest of Uganda, visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola. You will take 2 hours bushwalk with a professional park ranger close to the Rhinos.
After we drive to Masindi for an overnight, as legendary writer Ernest Hemmingway has also lived. (Masindi Hotel).
Day 4. Masindi – Murchison
In the morning we will visit Biizi Multiple Farm, one of Uganda farmers known as Bagada John Winter together with his family professionally cultivates mango, which is processed into juice and wine. It’s a very good example of what a local farmer can do!
We drive north to the famous Murchison Falls Park, check-in the luxurious Paraa Safari lodge, and go for evening game drive with the opportunity to see elephants, giraffes, various antelopes, monkeys, birds, lions, and leopards. We will stay here for two nights. Don't miss to see the hippos near your room.
Day 5. Full Day - Murchison Falls Park
After breakfast there is a morning safari in the National Park. After lunch, we sail on the Nile. The sailing trip rises to Murchison Falls and there are great opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, birdwatchers, herons and maybe elephants with more animals. Hike to the waterfalls and here you go along the waterfalls and the river.
Day 6. Murchison- Hoima
Optional morning safari and transfer to Hoima with packed lunches passed Lake Albert for beautiful scenery. Relax at the hotel this evening your accommodation, Hoima Cultural Lodge.
Day 7. Hoima – Fort portal
Start your journey today to Fort Portal town in western Uganda. Arrive at the Hotel for lunch and relax in the afternoon. You can also choose to visit the local market today (Optional). Sleep at Mountains of the Moon Hotel tonight.
Day 8. Chimpanzee trekking -Kibale Forest National Park.
Put your boots on, today is primates tracking day! In the morning you will drive for 1 hour to the offices of Uganda Wildlife Authority for registration as you prepare for hiking through the forest in search of the Chimpanzee. It will be an off-track tour for primate and bird watching! Afternoon swamp walk in Bigodi and relax at the Hotel.
Day 9. Kibale- Queen Elizabeth Park
After your relaxed breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth. On Arrival in QENP, in the afternoon, you will decide to relax at the Lodge or take an afternoon Game drive to see the different species of wildlife in the Park such as Buffalo, Crocodile, Elephant, and a range of beautiful birds. The park has over 600 species of birds. You will return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnig at Ihamba Lakeside Safari Lodge
Day 10. Queen Elizabeth National Park
It’s worth it to get up early. Ask your guide for the best time to be ready. On the morning Game drive you may be lucky and even spot a Leopard, Lions, Buffalos, Elephants, and Antelopes are the main attractions. Hippos, Buffalo, and various birds can be spotted on the afternoon boat trip on the Kazinga Channel.
Day 11. Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kampala
You will have early breakfast and proceed with your drive to the crocodile farm en route to Kampala. We can stop at the Uganda Equator for photos and visit souvenirs shops.
You will be dropped off at your accommodation, Forest Cottages Kampala.
Day 12. Kampala – Entebbe.
Today you can decide to relax prior to your flight in the evening or do Kampala City Tour and later in the evening, your guide will drop you at the airport for your flight back home
