Apoka Safari Lodge
Perched on top of some rocks at the heart of Kidepo Valley National Park, Apoka lodge breaths authenticity. Each of its 10 bandas is very private, has large sitting rooms, private verandas and big hand-hewn beds. Each is complete with an outdoor bath tub where you can take a dip as you take in views of the distant mountains that surround the park.
The lodge overlooks Narus Valley, a wildlife habitat where each day has its new surprises. If you are crazy about infinity swimming pools that are curved out of natural materials like rocks, Apoka’s pool will steal your heart! It overlooks a waterhole where countless zebras and buffaloes gather to quench their thirst. This in turn attracts a rich concentration of predators like lions and leopards.
On the part of food, the restaurant is open air and features a menu that flirts with the palate of both vegetarians and folks with carnivorous tastes.
